Description: Losing someone to suicide can be a very traumatic experience. This webinar will discuss common reactions, emotions, and the challenges that survivors of suicide loss may experience. This webinar will equip healthcare providers with the tools needed to support survivors. Topics including the importance of language when communicating about suicide loss, death and burial considerations, and potential concerns related to stigma and judgment will be discussed. Skill Level: Intermediate

Learning Objectives: 1. Examine the common grief reactions, emotions, or challenges survivors of suicide loss may experience. 2. Identify immediate strategies to support individuals and family members impacted by loss. 3. Recommend resources to support survivors of suicide loss.
